Prefrpay is built for Naira social commerce. Here is how fees and escrow work in plain terms.
Buyer fees
Buyers pay a Buyer’s Protection fee (3%, minimum ₦800, maximum ₦3,500). Paystack may add its processing fee at checkout. The listed product price is what the seller is due for the goods.
Minimum order: ₦15,000.
What sellers receive
Sellers receive 100% of the listed product price after delivery is confirmed and escrow releases to their verified bank account. Prefrpay does not skim the product line into a separate “seller fee” on top of Buyer’s Protection.
Escrow timeline
- Buyer pays → funds locked in escrow.
- Seller arranges delivery (manual rider or integrated courier).
- Delivery confirmed → escrow releases to the seller.
Until step 3, the seller cannot treat the money as settled in their pocket.
